This is a stunning, antique upright cabinet. The craftsmanship of the marquetry can be seen in the “criss-cross” pattern in the wood, likely a satin wood. This chest of drawers was likely a lingerie chest or “chiffonier”. Featuring 5 good sized drawers, this piece is aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. There is some peeling to the sides and a slim border has been broken off but could easily be repaired. Overall would describe condition 7.5/10. Measures: 47” tall x 21” deep x 24” wide.
